On the tenth anniversary of his passing, son Zak remembers Robin Williams
Robin’s son Zak paid homage to his father on Instagram, sharing a picture of the actor from his time on «Mork & Mindy.»

Ten years after his father’s passing, Zak, the son of Robin Williams, is honoring his father. Zak, 41, shared an emotional message to his father on Sunday, August 11, along with a photo of the Oscar winner.
«Dad, it’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years,» he said in the comment that he included under the picture of Robin in the Mork & Mindy comedy series. «Today, I’m reflecting on the immense love you shared with all of us — your family, your friends and everyone you met.»

The day of Robin’s suicide was August 11, 2014. His age was sixty-three. Prior to passing away, Zak stated in 2020 that his father «took great lengths to support his well-being and mental health, especially when he was challenged.»

He said, «It was something that was a daily consideration for him,» at the time. As an actor and comedian, Robin won over countless admirers throughout the course of his career. In the 1970s, he started out doing stand-up comedy.
He then starred in a number of films, including Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Morning, Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, Aladdin, and Good Will Hunting. In 1988, he won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for the film Good Will Hunting, for which he had four Oscar nominations. Additionally, he received two Emmys.
