Patrick and Brittany share whether they’re having a daughter or a son
The couple announced that they were expecting their third child together earlier this month.
Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes are expanding their family with a new daughter!
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 27, and Kansas City Current co-owner revealed in a celebratory joint Instagram post on Friday, July 19, that their third child is a daughter.
Sterling Skye, the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, helped reveal the moment by playing a game of Tic-Tac-Toe, which revealed three pink Xs in a row. Sterling proudly waved a «big sister» flag, and the tableau was completed with pink smoke and matching confetti.The couple also has a 19-month-old son, Patrick «Bronze» Lavon Mahomes III.
Brittany has been open about how their family has evolved over the years.
When asked if Bronze was the result of a planned pregnancy during an Instagram Q&A in spring 2023, Brittany disclosed that the couple’s baby was conceived on their wedding night. She was later asked if she got to share any adorable pregnancy announcements with her Super Bowl-winning hubby.
«Nothing cute lol, both were ‘oh s—t’ moments,» she wrote.
The mother of two was very open about the fact that she relies on others to keep her family running smoothly.
She wrote: «Yes, I have help.»
«And I am really grateful for it! «Chef, nanny, virtual assistant lol, and our security team,» she said.
