Prince William and Kate Middleton are not attending the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) in 2025.

The Mail reported on Sunday that the royal couple is on holiday on the Caribbean’s private island of Mustique and will not be present at the annual awards ceremony on Sunday, February 16, at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

According to the publication, William, 42, and Kate, 43, brought their three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, to the island on Thursday, February 13.The pair took a private airplane to Saint Lucia, according to a source who spoke to The Mail on Sunday.

Even though Prince William is the head of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, PEOPLE previously reported on February 10 that the royal pair will not be attending the awards ceremony.
