Drawing from a flea market
Engineer Santiago Taut has great creative intuition. Back in 2001, he bought a drawing at a flea market in Ecuador that resembled children’s scribbles.
For abstraction, he gave only a dollar. After 20 years, Santiago found his old acquisition among the trash in the attic. The abstract illustration interested his wife Delia.
A fan of the exhibitions recognized the handwriting of the famous British artist Lee Hadwin, who paints in his sleep, in careless strokes. The couple took the picture for examination.
