Rita Ora and her husband Taika Waititi were the first British celebrities to arrive at the CAA pre-Oscars party on Friday night, and the singer looked stunning in a racy sheer gown.
The 32-year-old actress posed with her 47-year-old film director partner at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles. They were among those who attended the Creative Artists Agency party, which was also attended by Florence Pugh, Lily James, and Paul Mescal.
Rita’s sultry ensemble pushed the underwear-as-outerwear trend to its logical conclusion, as she posed in a sheer black bralet and a matching sheer high-slit maxi skirt, with black underwear and suspenders visible underneath.
She accessorized with opera gloves and silver hoop earrings, and finished the look with a sultry smokey eye and huge slicked-back bouncy curls to exude Hollywood glamour.
Taika, on the other hand, dressed down his black suit with a simple white t-shirt and gold chain.
Rita, of course, is no stranger to flaunting her incredible physique. She’s been seen in a number of sheer ensembles recently, from a lace gown at the Golden Globes pre-party to a barely-there red maxi at the 2022 British Fashion Awards.
Sheer dressing has recently been seen on the runway and on many Hollywood stars, including Florence Pugh at the AW23 Valentino show.
The 27-year-old actress wowed in only a thong underneath a stunning sequin maxi skirt that was almost entirely see-through.
Florence also attended the CAA party on Friday, dressed conservatively in a bright green A-line mini dress embellished with art-deco-inspired scallop sequins. The Don’t Worry, Darling actress accessorized with a glittery green Valentino bag and black platform heels.
