Selena Gomez’s return to the public eye continued yesterday with her first paparazzi-photographed outing. Gomez was photographed hiking with friends in Malibu while wearing Puma leggings
—a natural choice given that she is the brand’s face and has just released a capsule collection with them.

This is Gomez’s second detention since reports surfaced that she had checked into an East Coast facility to work on her mental health after being hospitalized twice for a low white blood cell count, a complication that can occur in kidney transplant patients.
She was first spotted out with friends on a snow tubing trip, who posted the first new photos of Gomez on their Instagram accounts. Gomez discussed her workout style with ELLE.com ahead of the launch of her Puma line.
«I feel like when I dress up for a workout, I’m also dressing to achieve something, like a goal,» she explained. «So if I’m going to wear a baggy shirt and be tomboyish then I’ll go in that way. If I’m coming in more delicately, with tights and all, I’ll do Pilates.»
«I made the entire collection so that anybody could wear it however they want,» Gomez said of her Puma line.
«You should wear whatever you want as long as you feel good about yourself. I wanted you to feel as if you had choices. So the jumpsuit might not be practical for a run, but it would be fine for a walk.»

I wanted them to feel as if they could pick and choose, so they designed their own. That’s why all of my pieces appear layered, but you can remove them. It’s entertaining to play with.»
