«So I just went to the drive-through, and the guy was like, ‘Uh, I think you need to come inside for this,'» she recalled, before chalking up the event as one of life’s many «lessons to learn.»

During the interview, in which the host and guest consume chicken wings that gradually become spicier, Williams reflected on her early career, stating that she played entirely for the love of the sport, often forgetting about the prize money.

«I’ve never played for money. I played because I enjoyed the sport. I wanted to be the best. I wanted to win. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to be the best. «I just wanted to win,» the retired athlete explained.

«My tax person would say, ‘You didn’t get your money,’ and I’d say, ‘You didn’t get your money,’ and I’d go, ‘Oh, I didn’t receive that one in Zurich, I forgot that one in Moscow.’
