Seven years after the tragedy, Ariana Grande gives a generous Christmas donation to children in Manchester hospitals
Since the May 2017 suicide attack that occurred after one of her performances, the singer has maintained ties to the city.

During the holidays, Ariana Grande is giving back.
On Monday, December 23, the Wicked star generously donated to children throughout Manchester’s hospital network, according to a post on Instagram from the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity.

«Thank you @arianagrande!,» the nonprofit organization posted on its website. «We are so grateful to Ariana for thinking of our young patients this Christmas.»
«The gifts she has donated are being distributed to babies, children and teenagers across Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Trafford General Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital. @mftnhs.»
Images of patients receiving colorfully wrapped gifts and adults distributing them were included in the Instagram post. In 2022, the 31-year-old Grande gave gifts to the medical system.
Since the May 2017 suicide bombing that followed one of the artist’s performances on her Dangerous Woman Tour, the «thank u, next» singer has maintained ties to Manchester. According to CNN, the catastrophe claimed 22 lives and injured hundreds more.

The month after the attack, Grande raised money for the victims and their families by performing at a benefit event for the English city. Since then, she has paid tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack in a variety of ways.
In keeping with the holiday spirit, Grande performed her Christmas pop song «Santa Tell Me» live in December.
