Jonathan Owens, an NFL player, sent a message of congratulations to his wife, gymnastics sensation Simone Biles, who was named to her third Olympic squad this week.
«I am so proud of you, darling «Just knowing all the work you put in and everything you’ve been through, and to still come back and be as dominant as ever, I was speechless,» Owens said in an Instagram post Monday, following a series of photographs of Biles from the U.S.
Gymnastics Olympic Trials in Minneapolis, Minnesota. «I’m so thankful to be apart of this journey with you, and i cant wait to be able to watch you out there in Paris.»
He went on to say, «Cheers to your third Olympic Games!!!!!»
Owens attended the Olympic trials in Minneapolis, where Biles won first place, gaining a position on the team with Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, and Suni Lee.
Following the competition, Biles, a seven-time Olympic winner, announced that Owens would go to Paris to watch her compete at the 2024 Games, which begin on July 26.»The Bears are actually granting him a couple days off from training camp, so he’ll be there,» the Olympian explained, according to People. «Yes, for just a short little time.»
She expressed excitement about the opportunity to support each other’s dreams and goals. And, indeed, we will never be able to relive these moments.»
