Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas attended one of Hollywood’s most famous parties and date nights of the year: the Vanity Fair Oscars after party in 2023. Both dressed in black, the couple posed together.
Turner stood out in a Louis Vuitton ensemble that included a sheer black cape dress with a cutout neckline and a darker mini dress underneath. She wore her long red hair straight down her back and a smokey eye makeup look. Meanwhile, Jonas was looking dapper in Bode.
Turner and Jonas began dating in 2016. They married in May of this year and have two daughters. Turner told Jimmy Fallon in May 2022 that she knew she’d marry Jonas «the first night I met him.»
«We went out and hung out at a bar with, like, all my friends and all his friends, and then they all came back to my apartment and we had drinks after,» Turner recalled, adding that she cried to her brother about how much she liked Jonas.
«I remember him leaving my apartment, and it could have been the alcohol,» I said to my brother. ‘I love this man so much,’ I thought, and I knew. And that was the end of it.»
In March 2020, she told ELLE that being married to Jonas isn’t all that different from dating him. «I feel like the only thing that has changed for me is this incredible sense of security.
«Just saying the words husband and wife solidifies the relationship,» she explained. «I enjoy being married. It’s fantastic, in my opinion. I’m sure we’ll have hiccups and mishaps along the way. But right now, it’s as if security and safety are everything.»
