Susan Lucci,77, commands the catwalk at Dennis Basso’s New York fashion week show in a Glam Green Gown
Designer Dennis Basso invited his 30-year buddy to close his Spring/Summer 2025 NYFW show as a way of honoring her. Susan Lucci recently made a comeback on the runway during New York Fashion Week.
On Monday, September 9, the All My Children actress walked the Dennis Basso Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show. The 77-year-old donned a couture dress that was created just for her.
Her décolletage was exposed by the exquisite, form-fitting pastel green gown, which also featured a translucent cape-like shawl and a strapless pleated appearance.
Dangle drop earrings and bronze open-toe heels completed her elegant spring ensemble. The New York Times said that Basso described the outfit Lucci wore as «a streamlined silhouette.»
According to the NYT, Basso, 69, wanted to honor the two friends’ thirty years of friendship, so he invited Lucci to close out the event and serve as the Sept. 9 finale.
That same day, she posted an Instagram picture showing off her changing area. I’ve just arrived for fashion week, though. «I am incredibly thrilled to be performing in Dennis Basso’s amazing spring fashion show finale,» she declared.
We celebrate spring here in September, and I’m ecstatic to be a part of it. I was ecstatic when Dennis requested me to participate in the finale and walk the runway with him!
