Sydney Sweeney claims that Hollywood’s attitude of women empowering other women is fake and that none of it is happening
Here, I’m just doing my best. Why am I being attacked? In the ‘Vanity Fair’ 2025 Hollywood Issue, the actress stated

Sydney Sweeney is tired of seeing individuals in her line of work undermine women while feigning to elevate them, which she claims is the case for the majority of them.
According to Sweeney, 27, the entertainment industry’s image of «women empowering other women» is a façade, as stated in Vanity Fair’s 2025 Hollywood Issue.

«Watching women undermine other women is really depressing,» she stated in the Nov. 13 interview. «Especially when women who have achieved success in other areas of their industry witness young talent working hard to fulfill their dreams and then try to disparage and discredit any work that they do.»
«All that is said about this entire industry is ‘Women empowering other women.'» «It’s not happening,» Sweeney added. «It’s all phony and a front for all the other s—to be said behind everyone’s back.»

The celebrity claimed that there are several reasons for this fictitious commitment to women’s empowerment.
She told Vanity Fair, «I mean, there are so many studies and different opinions on the reasoning behind it.» According to what I’ve read, we were taught throughout our childhood that only one woman can succeed, and this is a generational issue. One woman has the ability to win a man over. One woman has the ability to be, well, anything. The others then feel compelled to engage in combat with one another.
