Sylvester Stallone turns 78! The famous actor receives sincere congratulations from family and friends
On Saturday, Sylvester Stallone celebrated being 78 years old. To mark the occasion, his loved ones and former adversary Arnold Schwarzenegger paid him heartfelt tributes.
The 76-year-old star of The Terminator, who recently wished his «amazing daughter» Sistine a happy 26th birthday, referred to the Rocky star as a «champion» in a post that was posted on his main Instagram profile. Arnold said,
«Happy birthday, my friend @officialslystallone,» beside three pictures of the couple shot over the years. «You are a legend and a champion.» You are an inspiration to billions of people worldwide, including me,» he said.
In one photo, the two were positioned next to one another while they were ready to carve the pumpkins that were in front of them. The two celebrities were pictured again years ago, this time sporting Planet Hollywood t-shirts.
He also sent another old image of them standing outside and posing for a picture with other people. The years-long rivalry between Sylvester and Arnold seems to have started in 1977 when they were seated at the same table at the 34th Golden Globe Awards.
