The engagement everyone has been waiting for! Emma is now officially a bride
The star of ‘American Horror Story’ confirmed her engagement to the actor on Instagram on July 16.
Emma Roberts is prepared to walk down the aisle!
The 33-year-old American Horror Story star disclosed on Instagram Tuesday, July 16, that she is engaged to actor Cody John.
«putting this here before my mom tells everyone,» Roberts captioned a snapshot of the couple smiling while she showed off her ring.
The Space Cadet star’s engagement post appears to be a nod to her mother, Kelly Cunningham, who earlier this year debuted her three-year-old son Rhodes, whom Roberts shares with ex Garrett Hedlund, on social media without her knowledge.
«When your mom posts your sons’ [sic] face without asking, but you love them both so whatever,» she posted on her Instagram Stories.
John, who has acted in Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga and The CW’s In the Dark, confirmed the couple’s romance in August 2022 by posting a photo of him kissing Roberts on Instagram with the remark, «sweet sweet.»
Later that year, Roberts announced their romance on Instagram, posting a shot of them holding hands. «#2022 «I loved you happy new year, hotties!» she captioned the photo uploaded on New Year’s Eve.
In January 2023, the two were caught kissing in New York City. A few months later, Roberts and John were spotted holding hands again in Los Angeles.
