The main tragedy in the life of the departed Tina, which she did not like to remember
The death of Tina Turner was a great tragedy for the whole world.
It seems that everyone knew the queen of rock and roll. The favorite of millions has made a huge contribution to the development of music and has had a great influence on any generation. And so, on May 25, Tina Turner died at her home in Switzerland from a long battle with bowel cancer.
Many friends, colleagues and fans after that began to share their memories of the singer on social networks, but the most interesting were the words of her daughter-in-law, Afida Turner.
The wife of the youngest son of the singer spoke about what became for Tina the main tragedy in life. This is not about the abusive relationship with her first husband Ike Turner, which lasted 16 years, and not even about the oncology that the singer was diagnosed with in 2016.
By the end of her life, Turner lost two children: in 2018, at the age of 59, her eldest son Craig Turner shot himself, and just five months before the death of the artist, her youngest son Ronnie died of colon cancer.
The Hollywood star could not at first accept the suicide of her eldest son, whose life seemed to be in full swing. But the realtor saw everything differently, and decided on this act. Not having time to recover from the death of one child, the singer learned about the illness of the second.
“When Ronnie was diagnosed, Tina was already very sick and could not fly to us in Los Angeles,” said the bride Turner.
Naturally, all this was very depressing for the loving mother, who could not cope with all the stress that she managed to endure. Then Tina found a new faith for herself, starting to preach Buddhism.
The singer believed that after death she would be able to see her boys again, and this greatly reassured her.
