In a viral TikTok video, an older man is seen holding up a guitar and a hammer before the winning bidder takes over and repeatedly strikes the instrument, eventually puncturing it.
The event presenter momentarily intervened, encouraging the man to remove the guitar from stage before inflicting further damage. However, the story does not finish here.
After obtaining $4,000 for the Texas nonprofit, the buyer returned the broken guitar to the group. The battered instrument, complete with many hammer-inflicted holes, is now being auctioned off again, this time on eBay.
