The NYPD previously told PEOPLE that on Wednesday, February 26, at around 8:00 a.m., police responded to a 911 call at 1 Columbus Place in New York City.
Officers found a 39-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive when they arrived. When EMS arrived on the scene, they declared the person dead. «There is no suspicion of criminal activity,» they stated.
When Trachtenberg’s mother, Lana, discovered her «unresponsive, lying on her back in bed,» she called the police and paramedics, according to TMZ.
