On May 31, unexpected news became known — 45-year-old Cassia Gallanio was found dead in a mansion in Spain. According to SkyNews, according to preliminary data, the ex-princess of Qatar passed away of her own free will.

In 1992, the prince of Qatar, Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani, was expelled from his native country for trying to overthrow the emir and he settled in France. At the same time, he met the young Gallanio, and almost immediately fell in love with himself,
despite the 28-year age difference. Without thinking twice, the future princess converted to Islam and became the third wife of the prince. Soon Cassia gave the prince three daughters. It seemed that a better life could not be imagined,
but everything was overshadowed by a terrible event. Abdelaziz bin Khalifa raped one of his daughters when she was between 9 and 15 years old. Cassia Gallanio immediately took the children and left with them for her Spanish palace.
Between the already former spouses, a fierce struggle for custody of the girls began, which at the same time revealed many secrets of the royal family of Qatar: from infidelity to corruption.
Al Thani completely denies his guilt, and the court ruled in his favor. Now the daughters have moved to their father in France. According to French media reports, the Prince of Qatar categorically forbade his daughters to see their mother,
and if this did happen, he punished them. The father forced the girls to sleep in the servants’ quarters until they apologized.
After the children moved to France, Cassia was left completely alone.
The health of the former princess of Qatar has deteriorated greatly. She began to suffer from depression, and the pain of losing custody of her daughters was numbed with the help of alcohol and illegal substances.
Despite the circumstances of the dеath, in late March, Gallanio posted a very powerful post on her social networks for her children. Despite any difficulties and problems, Cassia urged her daughters to accept them as temporary and never give up.
