The star Brooke Shields raised two strong women that she is proud to call her friends
For their first in-depth interview, the actress, her daughters Rowan and Grier, and their puppy Tuzi sat down with PEOPLE.
Regarding herself and her two kids, Rowan, 21, and Grier, 18, Brooke Shields says, «The three of us have very distinct big personalities.»
«One is a puppy golden retriever. Rowan twitches. She is vivacious. She is witty. An Ethiopian cat is the other. Grier has excellent poise. She is polished and immaculate. Before leaving for college, Brooke and her girls had their first in-depth interview and lots of laughs in this week’s PEOPLE.
They were joined by their boisterous puppy, Tuzi. Rowan is a senior at Wake Forest University, where Grier is beginning her first year.
The 59-year-old actress and beauty icon, who is married to comedy writer and director Chris Henchy, exclaims, «I’m terrified to be an empty nester!» «I’m worried about myself, just as much as I’m worried about her,» Grier continues.
Rowan explains, «Emotions are delicate. She was a mess, and I’ve already done it. She seems to be really busy right now, which is nice. She then says, «Off record, I’m hoping you and dad rekindle the flame,» grinning mischievously at her mother.
Brooke claims to be in «awe» of her girls’ transformation into self-assured young ladies who counsel her on TikTok and raid her clothes.
