In this tale, a hapless dog named Hattie who had to be put to sleep due to a massive tumor on her side that had grown for more than two years is described.
However, Vet Ranch and her devoted rescuers decided to reconsider and offer her another shot.
The Dallas Dog Rescue Rehab Reform labeled Hattie as «perhaps the worst owner surrenders we’ve taken in.»
When the dog was delivered to Vet Ranch, Dr. Karri exclaimed, «Hattie’s tumor was the largest tumor I’ve ever seen!»
Due to the tumor weighing her down, Hattie was unsteady. Dr. Karri also mentioned that Hattie sat on the tumor like a beanbag chair.
Thankfully, Dr. Karri was able to successfully remove the 15-pound tumor during surgery! She appears to be a brand-new puppy now!
The fact that Hattie entered a foster family to continue her recovery was a wonderful thing. Her rescuers also managed to find her a permanent residence!
