A woman who was bullied for being «too pretty» became «Miss England».

Natasha Hemmings, 26, said she was attacked by envious students while studying at university. Violent guys and girls bullied her daily, forcing her to lock herself in her room and even pelted her with food.

Once, food was scattered under my door. I used to take lunch to go and eat in my room, but at some point they just locked me up. All this time they called me “stupid” and that I “could not write or count without fingers and toes,” Natasha recalled.

But this did not stop her from taking part in the Miss England beauty pageant, of which she was recognized as the winner.

It was Hemmings’ mother who encouraged her to submit an application and try to prove to the public that she is different.

And even after winning the competition, the negative around Natasha did not end. Hundreds of comments began to pour on the Internet condemning the choice of the jury and the beauty of the participant.

It’s amazing how many people want to destroy a man who is trying to work and empower women to pursue their dreams,» Hemmings said.

Despite her success as a model, Natasha chose a different path. The girl graduated from the University of Music and after graduation she devoted herself entirely to music. Hemmings has already recorded her first album and is performing at major UK venues.

I am not a model or a beauty queen. During the competition, I learned to speak and play on stage. It was then that I started writing my first album, ”said the Daily Star artist.
