This couple is enjoying the biggest MaineCoon ever! But in my heart it’s all
When this Melbourne couple decided to adopt a cat named Omar, they had no idea he would one day break the Guinness World Record for being the world’s longest cat.
Omar initially resembled his siblings, and his size was not out of the ordinary.

However, Omar began to grow at an incredible rate over time, shocking his owners, Stephy Hirst and her companion.
Stephy Hirst, also known as Omar’s mother, remembered that they were anticipating a 19-pound cat at first.
But, by the time Omar was a year old, it was evident that he was far from finished growing.
He weighed 22 pounds at barely one year old. Omar now stands at an astounding 47 inches tall and weighs roughly 30 pounds.

After his images were published on the popular ‘Cats of Instagram’ account, his exceptional size drew the attention of the Guinness Book of World Records.
Omar’s enormous stature piqued the interest of his friends and followers.
People frequently questioned the legitimacy of Omar’s images, believing they had been digitally changed, according to Stephy Hirst.
When they met Omar in person, they were astounded by his genuine size and presence.
Although being the world’s longest cat has its advantages, it also poses some difficulties for the family.
Omar’s long body means he doesn’t have enough room in their bed.
Instead, he sleeps on the couch, wanting regular cuddles and attention from his adoring owners throughout the night.
In the attached video, you can see the beauty and individuality of this cute cat, as well as Omar’s incredible record-breaking size.
