A teenager from the Philippines by the name of Jen Ampler posted a number of pictures of herself with her 98-year-old grandmother on Facebook.
She also posted a heartbreaking message that quickly went viral after touching the hearts of numerous internet users.
While her grandma has aged, Jen, who has been raised and cared for by her grandmother since she was a baby, has developed into a stunning young woman. The 98-year-old older citizen has become too weak and feeble to take care of herself.
She made the decision that it was now her job to care for her grandma in the same manner as when Jen was a child.
«Inang, I am extremely grateful since you never abandoned me and my siblings and mama,» she wrote in a Facebook post.
«Grandma, you have taken care of me and reared me ever since I was born. I remember when I was a youngster, you were the one doing it to us, so while I was feeding and bathing you, I couldn’t help but cry,» Jen added.
Jen has taken on the duty of looking after her grandma despite being a busy teenager herself.
Grandma made many sacrifices for Jen and her siblings and has always been a mainstay in her life. «Now that you are 98 years old, please let us repay all you have done for us,» she said to soothe her grandma. Please be courageous. We adore you very much. We won’t leave you behind.
«Allow us to serve as your hands and feet because what you’ve already done for us isn’t enough. Grandma, I’m crying so hard because I adore you,» gushed Jen.
