This house was built with a hole in the floor so you can fish from home
We all have interests, but to what extent are we willing to incorporate them into our lives? An individual built his life around his hobby rather than just allocating surplus funds to it!
A solitary individual in Oklahoma decided to build his home in a way that revolved around his hobby.

Paul Phillips, from the Skiatook area, has worked as a contractor for many years, constructing numerous homes.
While constructing homes for others, he realized he had the ability to build his dream home — one that would allow him to indulge in his hobby whenever he wanted.
What kind of recreational activity could entice someone to embark on such an adventure? The solution is fishing.
Paul has a favorite body of water, Lake Oologah, where he would frequently visit a specific location and spend hours doing his favorite activity. Regrettably, he was informed that he could no longer fish at that location.

«One of these days, I’ll have my own place where nobody can tell me I can’t fish,» he told the local news.
He chose to act on his belief by purchasing a plot of land, renting a backhoe, and excavating a private pond.
He enlisted the help of a contractor to help him build his house after purchasing his own pond.
The house was approximately 1,850 square feet in size and included three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large living room with a unique addition.
«The lady next door loves to fish, and this lady here can’t wait for spring so she can hear the frogs a hollerin’,» he told the reporters.

Mr. Phillips’ hired carpenter admitted that he had never worked on a project quite like this before, but he found it to be a pleasurable experience. Aside from the living room, the back of the house has a deck where he can entertain his friends and host his own fishing parties.
Paul has lofty aspirations for his home.
This difficult project is only the beginning for the determined man. He plans to sell his current home in the future to buy a larger house with a larger pond where he can keep fish.

Paul’s experience teaches us a valuable lesson!
If your life goals are out of reach, build them yourself like Paul did! He took action on his beliefs and built a home that he genuinely cares about. He could be sitting in his living room right now, with a fishing line dangling in the water!
Given how magnificent this home is already, one can only imagine the splendor of the future home that Paul envisions. Paul, I wish you tight lines and happy fishing!
