Pamela Anderson will never go out of style, and Lily James knows this well than anybody. For this reason, even months after finishing her role as the legend in Pam & Tommy, the actress continues to incorporate elements of her style into her outfits.
In a formal costume reminiscent of Pamela’s cherry-red Baywatch one-piece suit, James appeared at the BFI Luminous Gala in London on Thursday. Lily’s silky dress, however, replaced the suit’s scoop-neck style and leggy cut with a stunning halter neck, an entirely open back, and a stylish floor-length train, despite the fact that the colors were undoubtedly comparable.
James chose to forgo accessories to let her dress take center stage, furthering her resemblance to the Baywatch actress, and pulled her hair up into a ’90s messy updo (except for her face-framing fringe).

Therefore, I was forced to spend the most of my time in this Lily/Pamela no man’s land. I would completely adopt her voice,» she said.
«Even when I went out to dinner and was ordering with the waitress or talking to my parents on the phone, I would be American,» the Emmy-nominated actress said. I believe I’ve lost a lot of jobs because I continue to sound like Pamela during interviews.
