This is how a cop sаves his 4 legged friend from a tornado
«I really like that dog. Every day of the week, he’s my hip attachment. He’s a member of our family.»
A police officer in Deer Park, Texas braved a tornado to prove that dogs are man’s best friend. A tornado ripped through the Texas town recently, destroying buildings and creating an unsafe environment outside by whipping debris around.

Officer Joel Nitchman, however, acted quickly after realizing the tornado was approaching while his K-9 partner was still in the car.
According to Nitchman, the two had just returned from training when the wind began to pick up and he realized he needed to get to his dog «the thought of debris or the car flipping over.

That was not something I could do to him. I couldn’t have him out there at that time.» According to the officer, Roni, the department’s K-9, has frequently put himself in danger to assist Nitchman; this time, Nitchman reciprocated.

The entire event was captured on surveillance cameras, and it is quite the sight. At one point in the video, the wind and rain are so strong that you can’t even see the police car. Because of the strong winds, Roni resisted getting out of the car.
«I could hardly get the door open. When I did…a he’s wise dog. «When he saw what was going on outside, he said, ‘I’m not coming out.'» KHOU spoke with Nitchman.
There was no time to haggle with a scared puppy. The partners had to enter a building for safety before the tornado intensified and they became the next Dorothy and Toto.
Fortunately for Roni, his human companion was able to get him out of the vehicle, and the two battled the strong winds to gain entry to the structure.
