The girl began ridiculing and making fun of her buddy, who just does not have the financial wherewithal to pursue a career in fashion. Her poor parents bought her clothes at a secondhand store. «You stupid slacker!» «You appear to be very stupid!» Kylie made a joke about her.
Olsen’s stepmother was taken aback when she learned of this! She loathed bullying on the schoolyard and could not stand it in her stepdaughter. She decided to teach the girl to respect others. She did it in a pretty unusual way.
Kylie was taken to a thrift store by her stepmother and asked to choose the most ugly outfits. To the girl, it was all rather amusing. She had no idea she’d have to wear these frightening clothes to school for the next two days.
Parents forced their daughter to wear these clothes so she might feel like she was in the «skin» of a disadvantaged classmate. Kylie couldn’t figure out why her parents were so cruel to her. The kids in class constantly mocked her, making her realise how dreadful it is when everyone laughs at you.
Kylie quickly saw she had made a mistake. The girl learned to see others differently, no longer condemning them solely on their appearance. Your personality is the most significant thing. Kylie approached a bullied classmate and begged her forgiveness.
They had so much in common that the two ladies became fast friends! Kylie might not have made new acquaintances if she hadn’t stopped focusing on how her classmates looked.
