Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s rollercoaster summer is coming to an end.
As Kelce, 34, returns to Missouri for training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs following a summer of work and travel with Swift, also 34, a source tells PEOPLE exclusively that the tight end wanted to spend every moment with his superstar girlfriend before refocusing on football.
«Travis’ last few concerts were bittersweet,» says an insider about Kelce’s Eras Tour stop in Germany to see Swift.
«They realized their time together was coming to an end, and he made sure to spend every
Swift and Kelce’s busy schedules frequently require them to be in separate places, but the insider says the «Fortnight» singer and NFL player seize every opportunity to spend time together as their relationship approaches one year.
«It’s definitely tough to be apart but they do everything they can to make it work and show up for each other,» a source told me. «They’re madly in love and incredibly happy together. «All of their friends and family can see it.»
Kelce — who also spent his off season filming Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity and Ryan Murphy’s upcoming series Grotesquerie — «is back in football mode,» according to another source. «His team and the Chiefs remain a top priority.»
