Dakota Fanning is reminiscing about one of her first roles while also hanging out with a former co-star.
A special showing of the upcoming film The Piano Lesson, which is based on August Wilson’s 1987 play of the same name and stars Danielle Deadwyler, Samuel L. Jackson, and John David Washington, was attended by the 30-year-old Perfect Couple star on Monday, October 21.
Fanning unexpectedly ran into Denzel Washington, one of her original co-stars, during the event. The 69-year-old Oscar winner is a producer of the historical drama picture and the father of John David.
After posing for a cute picture with Washington, Fanning posted it on her Instagram Stories. «[The Piano Lesson] blew my mind!» Beneath a picture of herself and her ex-co-star sitting on a bench together, with his arm around her shoulder, Fanning wrote.
«Proud friend,» she went on to say.In the 2004 film Man on Fire, Fanning portrayed Lupita Ramos, a 9-year-old who is abducted and must be rescued by her former CIA bodyguard John W. Creasy (played by Washington). Mickey Rourke, Marc Anthony, Radha Mitchell, and Christopher Walken were also included.
Given that Fanning was just ten years old when the action thriller was released, Washington demonstrated early support for her and her acting abilities.
