Isla Glaser was at home with her mother and brothers when an event occurred that would have frightened even the most courageous adults.
The young girl entered the kitchen and discovered her mother, Haley Glaser, motionless on the floor.
Isla’s mother experienced a medical crisis while Isla, her sister, who is 2 years old, and her twin brothers, who are 1 years old, were at their house in Franklin Township, New Jersey.
She was only four years old, yet she exhibited courage by dialing 911 straight away.
On December 6, 2019, Isla informed the 911 operator that her mother had fallen and was unable to speak.
She continued by stating that although her eyes were closed, she was awake and that they were in the kitchen.
She remained on the line and gave thoughtful responses to the dispatcher’s queries. She gave the dispatcher her address and the fact that her father was at work.
When the fire crew arrived, Isla was able to unlock the front entrance of the house and she ordered the dogs out as they entered. Her smaller siblings were even fed and cuddled by her.
News 12 According to New Jersey, Haley had a bacterial illness and needed to be taken immediately to the hospital. While she recovered, she remained there for a few days.
The elder children of Haley and her husband have been instructed by them on what to do in such a situation. This is a crucial life skill, particularly in light of Isla’s mother’s health issue.
