When Ben Affleck gets home and sees the swiftly spreading Pacific Palisades fire close to his property, he appears shocked
When Ben Affleck got home on Tuesday, he was met with an unpleasant surprise since a huge wildfire that was consuming a portion of the west side of Los Angeles was visible.
After splitting with Jennifer Lopez, the 52-year-old A-lister has been renting a bachelor house in the upscale Pacific Palisades region of Los Angeles. He was seen driving up to the property.
Even though the air quality was bad because of the adjacent wildfire, he rolled up with his window down and seemed shocked.
The fire not only destroyed several homes in the affluent neighborhood, but it also caused several Hollywood premieres, including the one for his ex-girlfriend Jennifer’s most recent movie, Unstoppable, to be canceled.
In order to maintain the attention on Jennifer’s performance on screen, Ben has mostly avoided publicity events for the uplifting sports drama. Ben is a producer on the movie, along with his closest buddy Matt Damon, but it’s unknown if he intended to attend the screening.
Ben wore a white dress shirt, but without a tie and without a button, and a navy blue suit to dress up for the evening. The extent of the fire’s potential overnight spread is unknown, but it has already destroyed the homes of a few local celebrities, and many more reside in the impacted region.
Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, Miles Teller, Reese Witherspoon, and many other celebrities call Ben’s westside suburb of Pacific Palisades home.
