When the tourists noticed a fissure in the rock, they decided to investigate, but a little cave led them to an old labyrinth
A group of tourists was already making their way down from the foothills to the house when one of them saw a passage in the rock. At first glance, folks chose to investigate a little cave after talking. The next round, however, revealed an ancient twisted maze.
The group was escorted by an experienced guide who found the first descents promptly. The tourists went to investigate the first rooms of the labyrinth while the man held a safety rope to peacefully find his way.
They soon found a sign with the name «Aohobe» on the wall, and the guide easily gained his bearings and knew where the group had arrived.
The old labyrinth turned out to be an old operating mine that Soviet miners investigated roughly 70 years ago.
Geologists investigated the eponymous area near the Aohobe River in the early 1950s.
Its potential was recognised; not only iron and tin, but also silver, were discovered here. The mine was erected as quickly as possible, and by 1964, the 3rd Soviet had its own underground infrastructure.
Tourists who expected to view as much of a small cave as possible discovered it. However, the mining map turned out to be enormous, with a network of building sites stretching for kilometres. Without an experienced guide, there is little to do here.
Nonetheless, the group turned on the cameras and videotaped an attempt to probe the maze’s farthest reaches:
It is hardly worth it to descend into such works without an experienced escort. Nobody knows where the underground labyrinth will take them.
