That’s why the Mean Girls actress chose a charming farm in upstate New York nearly a decade ago over the bustle of Los Angeles and New York City. The then-20-something never looked back, with just her cherished dog Finn at her side.
In an interview with Forbes that was released on November 3, Amanda, 38, stated, «I moved upstate long before I had a family.» «Remaining here was the ideal choice for seclusion, tranquility, and the environment. Compared to the metropolis, it provides a more balanced way of living.
That’s not all, though. The former cast member of Les Misérables, who lives with her husband Thomas Sadoski and their daughter Nina, 7, and son Thomas, 4, discovered that being outside has been «essential for my mental health.»
It has also been simpler for her to transition into work, which frequently involves «the faster lifestyle of the city, the high-energy of press events and life on-set,» since she has the retreat.It’s also where she relaxes afterward. Amanda acknowledged that she is «home and even happier in my boots in the mud feeding the animals» the day after a luxurious trip.
