Young woman meets the firefighters who helped deliver her Before 22 years
A 22-year-old North Carolina lady just discovered more information about her birth background.
I’ve never seen a baby picture of me, said Janea Watson.
Three of the Winston-Salem firefighters who helped Watson deliver her more than 20 years ago were reunited with her on January 21.

For everyone concerned, it was a unique occasion.
Watson remarked, «I was just astonished and excited.
Firefighters from the Winston-Salem Fire Department responded to a medical emergency on November 10, 1992.
Ron Hepler, a former fire captain of Station 3, said, «It happened on Nov. 10 at 6:27 in the morning.»
It was the twelfth call of the night for Hepler’s crew.

«Nothing obstructed our path. We exited, entered, and the grandmother announced, «We didn’t call any firefighters.» We’ll back out of the way when the ambulance arrives, I added,» Hepler recalled.
Hepler reacted quickly to capture the infant as the mother abruptly proclaimed that «the baby was coming» a short while afterwards.
«They said that her neck was wrapped in the umbilical cord. They had to move quickly, and they did a great job. She cried once, and that was it. According to Janea’s grandma, Jennie Watson, «They knew everything was okay.

Six months later, Jennie organized a reunion, but Janea was too little and the firefighters remembered the wonderful event.
22 years later, Janea’s grandma organized a reunion that the young woman will never forget.
She said, «I want to thank you and I’m glad for them.
That was the first time Janea had ever seen a picture of herself as a newborn or heard the tale of her birth.
